NANBIOSIS-ICTS is a network that provides biomedical services for companies and research institutions. We cover the entire life cycle of biomedical device development, from design to preclinical validation in both large and small animals. We offer comprehensive solutions to research challenges through our “Cutting-Edge Biomedical Solutions” (CEBS).
Short answer: yes. Long answer: now seriously, we cover pretty much the entire process of generation of a biomedical solution. With over 150 different services, we can help you from the conceptualization of an idea or project, exploiting the expertise and know-how of leaders in biomedicine, all the way to the preclinical stage using small and large animals.
NANBIOSIS is distributed, meaning the Units are not physically in the same location. In practice, however, they all act as one and the services of the Units are accessed through our webpage.
We are mainly scientific researchers, under the umbrella of three scientific institutions: CIBER (BBN subarea), CCMIJU and IBIMA Plataforma Bionand. These institutions joint forces and contributed with their research groups to form their Units.
Each Units is a self-sufficient team of academic researchers, leaders in their field, and working in a particular area. Our Units are located all over Spain, and are in constant communication with one another, under the coordination of the NANBIOSIS administration team.
Our researchers are not only in close communication with one-another, they also often collaborate in their own research projects. This generates synergies that cover specific market gaps and industrial challenges, and the answer to these challenges is what we like to call our flagship products: Cutting-Edge Biomedical Solutions (CEBS, for short). These are available in our webpage and we are constantly adding more as these synergies keep emerging.
As academic researchers ourselves, we know how hard it is sometimes to find the right partner for a collaboration. We are here to fill that void, serve you as partners in your own projects, and cover the know-how you may need. We can also provide training, consulting and specific services and state-of-the-art equipment.
We know how hard it is for start-ups to grow in the fierce market of biomedical research. This is particularly true when funds and investment are the limiting factor. As expert academic researchers, we offer our know-how to help you cover those gaps and also allow you access to our cutting-edge services and facilities.
